In the name of spring cleaning, Pico Rivera has partnered with NASA Services to offer a free curbside service for residents who have bulky items to toss.

Eligible items for the service include such items as:

  • Furniture
  • Appliances
  • Electronics
  • Interior fixtures (carpeting, sinks, toilets, bathtubs)
  • Gas grills (no propane bottles)
  • Fencing, lumber and drywall (8-foot maximum length)
  • Up to two car tires

The service will not pick up:

  • Trees, stumps, branches or shrubs
  • Construction materials such as dirt, brick, rock, concrete, asphalt and roofing materials
  • Household chemicals, including paint, oil, fuel tanks, batteries, propane bottles and closed drums

The day of pickup coincides with residents’ normal trash pickup day. If your trash pickup day is:

  • Monday, NASA Services will come on April 21
  • Tuesday, NASA Services will come on April 28
  • Wednesday, NASA Services will come on May 5
  • Thursday, NASA Services will come on May 12
  • Friday, NASA Services will come on May 19
